Khalid L. Khan, M.D.
Dr. Khan is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist specializing in medicine, surgery and injury of the eye. He earned his Medical degree from Nishtar Medical College, completed an internship at Bristol Hospital, his residency at the VA Hospital in Tuskegee and fellowship at the University of Connecticut. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American College of Surgeons and the International College of Surgeons, as well as a member of numerous professional organizations that help him stay on the cutting-edge of the latest advancements in ophthalmology.
In addition to his private practice, Dr. Khan also volunteers his time at the Free Health Clinic in Calhoun County, as well as participates in yearly training with the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery Seminar and the Southeastern Eye Ophthalmic Information and Technology Seminar. He is committed to staying on the cutting-edge of the latest advancements in technology and medicine in the field of ophthalmology. During his leisure time, he enjoys travelling.
